On Sunday , Mach 25 , Seattle 2018 ,K. Shawver talked about her new book in Ravenna Third Place Books. When she met the eighty-five year old Henry Zguda, his exceptional memory plus surprising cache of original documents and photos became a canvas for her book, based on research and interviews with a champion swimmer,
whose life was interrupted by three years imprisonment in Auschwitz and Buchenwald.
